I will be uploading audio files,
some of the tracks you may know from Shakatak , others well wait and see !
The first sample is the demo of a track called' Slamming!' which is on the "View from the city " album with the tune/solo on bass.
'Japan '83' is my bass solo taken from our Shakatak "Live in Japan album"
recorded on 15th Dec 1983 very rare note no effects were used only my JD, me and 2,000 japanese fans !
'Pastel Shade' is a tune dedcated to Jaco, played on fretless bass playing different parts
with Roger on drums . It evokes a nice jazz feel , almost Pat Metheny / Jaco vibe
'Someday' is taken from the 'Jill Saward' album 'Just for you' its one of my funkiest lines no slapping , just laying it down !! Check out Jason Rebello's amazing playing on this track !!
Just added video from 'YouTube' of my Bass solo from Japan 2005 , taken from our DVD 'live at the Duo Exchange' it was a fantastic night for all..... epecially as my youngest son James was there.!!
